Infrastructure Grants

OVERVIEW

If you are looking for FY20 TEACH Grant Program information, please click here.

Information Technology Infrastructure Grants provide technology infrastructure to improve the capacity of rural school districts and libraries to utilize technology for students and patrons. Only eligible, individual, rural school districts and libraries may apply. $7,500,000 is available for State Fiscal Years 16, 17 & 19.  $15,000,000 is available for State Fiscal Year 18. These are not additional funds to the TEACH Grant program. They are a reallocation of existing funds within TEACH.

Infrastructure grants are competitive based upon school districts with the greatest free or reduced-price lunch percentage. Funding for Information Technology Infrastructure Grants is contingent upon available TEACH funds.

See current Fiscal Year for grant awards, eligible districts and libraries, eligible infrastructure purchases, eligibility requirements, FAQs, etc.

Note: TEACH reserves the right to monitor grants to identify potential problem areas where technical assistance might be necessary. Grant monitoring is accomplished through review of reports and documentation from the grantee, desk audits, site visits, and other information made available to TEACH.
